The Love Your Space Workshop
A COLLABORATION TO SUPPORT FOSTER YOUTH

At Southworth Interior Design, we believe that home has the power to shape how we feel, heal, and grow. Through our ongoing collaboration with CASA of Kern County, we are committed to supporting children living in foster care by helping create spaces that feel safe, personal, and affirming.

The Love Your Space Workshop was created to give foster youth the opportunity to reflect on their environment and learn how small, thoughtful changes can bring comfort, confidence, and a sense of ownership to their space. This workshop is designed to be age-appropriate, creative, and empowering, offering practical tools that children can carry with them wherever life takes them.

As designers, we are entrusted with shaping the places where life unfolds. We believe it is our responsibility to use that skill set to serve our community and advocate for those whose voices are still being formed. This work is rooted in partnership, care, and the belief that every child deserves a space that feels like their own.
