Country Rose Game Room

Designed for homeowners with a deep love for sports, family, and nostalgia, this game room was thoughtfully shaped to feel personal, layered, and inviting. Southworth Interior Design provided design support throughout the project, guiding furniture selection, layout, paint color, and the placement of wood beams across the ceiling to create a space that felt cohesive and intentional from the ground up.

Custom built ins anchor the room and complement the existing kitchenette, while a shiplap ceiling with wood beams introduces warmth and subtle architectural character overhead. The furnishings balance comfort and function, creating a space designed for gathering, relaxing, and everyday enjoyment.

Collected vintage pieces were layered alongside new furnishings and decor to give the room depth and personality. A curated mix of baseball memorabilia, vintage gloves, and a working gumball machine brings a sense of history and playfulness, while styling details throughout make the space feel deeply connected to the family who lives there. Designed with these devoted Dodgers fans in mind, the result is a warm and memorable retreat that honors the past while making room for new traditions.
