Johnson Road Residence
Designed for a family newly relocated from Utah, this home was thoughtfully furnished to feel functional, comfortable, and welcoming from day one. The first phase centered on space planning and furnishings for the great room off the kitchen, incorporating kitchen island seating, a family dining table, and a living area thoughtfully designed to support everyday life for a household of seven.
Modern forms are softened with natural materials, creating a space that feels approachable rather than precious. Each zone flows seamlessly while remaining purposeful, encouraging gathering, conversation, and ease.
The second phase extended the home outdoors with a dedicated lounge, dining area, and pool deck seating complete with chaise lounges and umbrellas, allowing the exterior to function as a natural extension of the interior. Café lighting was installed throughout the backyard courtyard, creating a warm and inviting setting for summer evenings spent dining al fresco. The result is a cohesive warm modern home designed for connection, flexibility, and enjoyment, shaped around the rhythms of family life.
